Product Reviews

Relaxed Fit Straight Leg Flannel-Lined Carpenter Denim Jeans is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great I've always used the Dickies carpenter jeans and always fit me great but these flannel lined jeans seem to be different..... The side pocket is different which makes it smaller. The front pockets are not as deep and I use a tape measure all the time and with the regular jeans I never had problem hooking my tape on the pocket but the flannel ones have loose pocket opening and I always have to pull pocket opening tight with other hand to slip tape measure. The other thing that's different from non-flannel is the crotch area fits up tighter. On a lesser note, I would prefer a more faded version of the denim because the dark blue shows dust easy

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Let down I am used to wearing another brand of work jeans but thought I would give Dickies a try. Unfortunately these jeans are not as comfortable as the other brand. They bunch up in the crotch, and the pockets are not deep enough. For instance my wallet now sits too high in my pocket and is right at the fold when I am seated. Ouch, pointy. Also, the side "tool" pocket is too low, practically at my knee, so I have to bend forward to use that pocket. All in all they seem like a rugged pair of jeans that will last, but they are not my favorite. They won't be the pair of jeans I wear when I need to look professional to impress a client, but they will be the pair I grab when I have some nasty dirty work to do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Have numerous Dickies' products, like them and will keep buying them but not this particular product. Overall a good product but the important thing about carpenter's jeans are their pockets. These front pockets are extremely small (probably because of the diagonal side opening that is not on the other jeans). My hands do not go in any farther than the second knuckle. Anything put in these front pockets fall out when kneeling, sitting or bending. Really not up to Dickies' standards and am extremely disappointed. I since have read that others do not like these small pockets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not like they use to be. I’ve worn out Dickies jeans before. In the past they hold up very well. I purchased two new pairsand they aren’t like they use to be. They are darker then discribed, the pockets aren’t very deep at all. Have to very carefully with placing my wallet in, as it has fallen out just walking. They don’t feel as flexible as the past pairs have. I will no order Dickies online again. I rather go to the store and see what I’m buying in the future. Also if you use a discount code you won’t get what ever the current promotional item is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best prices/comfortable jeans I bought these jeans for my son a welder very difficult to please. I bought 3 pairs different styles. Love each one of them and fit so nicely as well- I will buy them again and again, price great; comfort and looks are first class.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderfully warm winter informal pants When I retired from New Mexico to Newport, RI last year at the age of 70, I realized I needed some warmer pants even with thermal underwear. These are wonderful and do the job rather well in cold north Atlantic winds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Painters Pants I bought these pants to wear while working outside. However the lining is a lot thinner than the last pair I bought with the blue plaid flannel lining.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed pocket opening too big and too shallow. Easy to get pick pocketed or money to fall out.
