Women's Premium Painter's Utility Pant is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Women's Premium Painter's Utility Pants Usually I am a size 6 regular in women's pants -- For these pants I needed a 8 or even 10 (I guess that means Dickies women's sizes run small?) -- On both the 8 & 10 the waist was a bit tight, although the hips & rest of the pants were very roomy -- Maybe these pants are based on the men's painter's pants sizes & cut? -- Otherwise I am very satisfied with the pants I will use while working in the garden -- Where I garden is in an area infested with ticks & gardeners are advised to wear white so as to be able to see the ticks easily & then remove & destroy them -- I had difficultly finding this kind of "work" pants for women & was pleased to find yours (at a decent price, too)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do Dickie's Designers Paint? I didn't like the fit right out of the package, but I needed them, so I wore them to work. To be clear, the size was a good fit. But once I put on the pants, I remembered why a "sits slightly below the waist" painter's pant is a bad idea: A Painter, when not standing on a ladder or on the floor, often crouches, crawls and bends over. The fit and design of these pants leaves a huge gap in the center of the back/waist, emulating the Plumber's Crack view. It's the same way men's painter pants fit women: no tapered waist. As a woman working among mostly men, I can't tolerate that distraction. Taper the waist! Please! Add to that the more important distraction: A Painter carries many tools, using each pocket. This weighs the pants down, requiring many to wear a belt. The "sits below the waist" fit channels the belt right across the pelvis bones.... ouch!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still undecided.. I recently bought 2 pair of these because my current pants have so much paint they could stand on their own and wanted to give them a try. I have only wore them twice and so far I am pleased with them. They seem lightweight but not cheap to the point that paint will seep through to your skin or to the point of being see-through. I would be the first in line to buy a pair that had double fronts however. From my experience they do not run nearly as small as what others have claimed. I ordered 2 sizes up as some had suggested and now have to send the unused pair back for an exchange.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from baker's pants I wanted to try these out in the bakery, since the flour wouldn't show. They fit well, and are comfortable, but I wish they came closer to the natural waistline. We aren't all 19 years old!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need to sell longs I have been wearing the size 4 painters pants at work for about 9 months now. The uniform woman needed to let down as much hem as she could and them sew on a facing. It would be awesome to have longs. Will be buying size 6 (hopefully 6 longs) next go around for uniforms. I have a few pair that have shrunk after being subject to work's commercial laundry .Please use a fabric blend with some spandex would be ideal with all the crouching and bending with my work as a painter. Please offer my size in longs. Thanks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst ever! I am 47 year old working women they sit so low on the hips I look like a plumber not a painter... Returning them!! Bad idea Dickies

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Def run a size small, if ur curvy order up... I'm a pro painter, unfortunatly we dont find oants for women often. I have a small waist, wide hips and thighs. I normally wear a 10 but i order these in a 12. Wash w/fabric softner before u wear 2x's and they'll be softer. Overall the best option out there for female painters and reasonable price! Thanks Dickies!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit I have difficulty finding pants that will fit generally because of being too tight in the thigh area. These fit my large thighs! I give them a four star rating for the fabric is a little rough. Now it would be great if they would make them in 100% cotton I'd give a five star rating.
