Dickies Teams Up with “Fast N’ Loud’s” Richard Rawlings and Gas Monkey Garage

Leading performance workwear brand is official apparel of motor mastermind and his crew

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (September 1, 2016) – Dickies, the world’s leading performance workwear brand, has partnered with Richard Rawlings, star of Discovery Channel’s “Fast N’ Loud,” to become the official apparel of the show’s featured auto shop, Gas Monkey Garage. Rawlings and his crew will be outfitted in Dickies workwear and Rawlings will serve as a Dickies brand ambassador.

Rawlings, iconic muscle car enthusiast and the proprietor of Dallas, Texas-based Gas Monkey Garage, searches, buys, restores and sells forgotten, derelict cars with the help of the Gas Monkey crew. Over the years, Rawlings’ work on “Fast N’ Loud” has become extremely popular because of his authenticity, self-assuredness and a willingness to take on the most challenging of automotive transformations.

“With the amount of time we spend in the shop, it’s incredibly important that we have something durable, functional and comfortable. Dickies is one of the most recognizable brands in our business and they give us all of that,” said Rawlings. “We’re ready to kick it into high gear and have some fun in the garage with Dickies.”

Gas Monkey Garage will feature Dickies logos on the shop walls and the crew will don new Dickies uniforms on the latest season of “Fast N’ Loud,” airing Mondays on the Discovery Channel. Rawlings will join Dickies at events hosted on-site at the garage in Dallas, as well as trade shows and various media events throughout 2017.

“The Gas Monkey crew doesn’t mess around when it comes to durability and quality in their work, and at Dickies we share those same values,” said Brent Streit, vice president of marketing, Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. “We’re the leading automotive performance workwear brand and given that, it made sense to partner with the best crew out there.”

Dickies workwear, including the legendary 874® work pant which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2017, is a long-time staple in many automotive shops, providing quality, comfort and durability for decades.
