Waaayyy too tight.
They claim these are "Relaxed Fit". They aren't. The fit is OK in the thighs, but very tight in the seat and with a very low rise. The zipper is just under 6" total. I have other Dickies pants, plus Wranglers, Carrharts and Duluth, all of them have zippers over 7" long. The material isn't heavyweight fabric, but is fine for summer. This seems like they wanted something cheap to put on sale.

Fit is good, shorts are sturdy. The zipper is garbage, it's not a ykk zipper. I've had nothing but problems with the zipper.

Uncomfortable and no phone pocket.
Shorts are uncomfortable, they sit lower than the other relaxed fit shorts, I keep having to pull them up, the other Dickies work shorts fit fine, there are the same size and same relaxed fit and they sit lower on my hips.
Does NOT have a phone pocket like the Dickies work shorts, unless you have a tiny phone with no protective case.
I don't know of any carpenters that use a phone without a case.
Another Dickies product I bought that will end up in the trash.

Relaxed Fit Duck Carpenter Shorts
Relaxed Fit Duck Carpenter Shorts. Ordered waist 32". They measure close to 34". I was hoping for the "one inch larger" typical sizing that most garment makers go with. I like the shorts, but they're falling off of me.

Sizing is small
These shorts fit tight. I ordered 2 34" waist shorts and it was very tight. I returned them.
