Dickies denim shorts
There should be belt loops closer to top button ...some have belt loops about an inch either side of top button ..I don’t have beer belly and belt still rides up over top of shorts ..I think dickies had these at one time..but cutting corners seems to be the way it is now

They run small
I work for a living so i need these to be loose fitting, I even ordered a size larger because of the other reviews, they do fit, but the front pockets are a joke. I can barely get my hands in there to retrieve screws or what ever and i haven't washed them just has me concerned.
So if you decide to buy a pair of these shorts, make sure you go a size up. Oh yeah, they are long in the length, below the knee, kinda annoying....

Not happy with this purchase
I usually buy ******** carpenter shorts, but could not find any, anywhere. I needed some new ones, so I tried the Dickies; big mistake. Waist is very tight; *******of same dimensions fit perfect. Also, side pockets are useless. The front One is so shallow, anything I put on in falls out. Plus, they are VERY narrow; my cell phone will not go in the side pockets. Again, it works great on ********. They are much less expensive than ******* and I really wanted them to work. The old saying “ you get what you pay for” applies here.
