As a Buffalo Wild Wings store employee, you're "helping take wings where no wing has gone before...bringing wings to the world!" How you and your team members dress helps set the tone for the overall customer experience of loyal wing-lovers.

According to the Buffalo Wild Wings dress code for employees found in the Team Member Handbook, "Employees are expected to dress in a manner that reflects good taste and business professionalism with consideration to position and frequency of public contact."

Taking it further, these general standards apply to employees company-wide:

  • Clothing should be neat, clean, well-fitted and appropriate for a business establishment.
  • Hair style and cut should be neat and clean.
  • Makeup and jewelry should be conservative, not distracting.
  • Appropriate undergarments are required.
  • Employees should meet the highest standards for hygiene and grooming are at all times.

And while clothing style and color requirements may vary from store to store, the following applies to all store employees during store hours:

Shirt

Buffalo Wild Wings employees are issued a shirt by the store. This shirt is to be worn tucked in unless special circumstances require otherwise. The short sleeve shirt worn under the Buffalo Wild Wings uniform shirt must be solid black, white or yellow.

Pants and Shorts

Employees may be given the option of wearing pants or shorts, depending on their job position. Shorts and pants must be black. Black shorts must be worn at a length reaching below the apron. Typically, this men's long shorts with an 11" to 13" inseam or women's long shorts with a 10"-11" inseam. If black pants have loops, a black belt must be worn. No leggings, yoga pants, stretch pants or jeans/denim pants in any color are allowed. If shorts are acceptable in your position, they can be worn from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Non-slip Shoes

Black non-slip shoes are required for the safety of all employees. For safety, kitchen employees must wear leather-topped shoes. Non-kitchen employees may wear black tennis shoes that are fully laced and tied with a slip-resistant sole. Shoes must be polished (leather), clean, closed toe and accommodate long periods of standing and walking. Comfort and safety are key. Hat

Employees working in the kitchen and food preparation areas are required to wear the hat they've been issued by the store or an approved sports logo hat. Check with your manager. The brim and logo should always face forward.

Nametags

If an employee has been issued a nametag, it should be worn at all times while on the job.

Note: Wearing a Buffalo Wild Wings-issued uniform while visiting the store as a customer is not allowed. However, wearing Buffalo Wild Wings retail apparel is OK.
