Dickies has a long history with buffalo checks going back to the 1950’s when the red and black color ways were used as lining in cotton twill jackets. This new shirt is made with a forward shoulder seam, also from the 1950’s. The black enamel Dickies Best buttons were first used as suspender buttons in some of Dickies earliest pants in the 1920’s. Two pockets with flaps make this a practical shirt with great details from the past.

"This is a poorly made piece of clothing with lots of loose threads. Every button hole is an unravelling birds nest that catches the buttons when being secured and undone. Hopefully I received a reject that escaped quality control. I like the style and look and it is comfortable. But it is clearly coming apart."
