Taking Her Craft to the Next Level

Meet Carly, Metal Fabricator

This is the story of Carly, a furniture fabricator at Brian Chilton Design in Austin, Texas. Carly loves the functionality behind furniture making, as she gets to apply the same creative principles she learned as a jewelry maker, but on a much larger scale. Although she is the only female fabricator at the company, she doesn’t feel like she’s treated any differently, and instead focuses on where she can go in this field. Watch the video to see her future aspirations, thoughts and advice she would give to someone looking to get into fabrication.
