A Great looking and fitting jean. A carpenter for 40 years I’ve always worn Dickies.
The word “Heavyweight”should not be in the description of these jeans.

Worth buying. Sturdy and comfortable.
The denim is a good weight. I was pleased at how quickly it came. This might sound a little odd but the fly is longer than most companies and the zipper is good and strong. Often companies cheap out on that feature because I suspect that per unit zippers are relatively expensive. I have two things I would wish different one is for the watch pocket to be a little broader. I carry an AAA flashlight and unlike the other Dickies pants I have it won’t lie flat in the pocket making me a little nervous about it working its way out. The second is that the pocket material is a bit light for work jeans. I really like the pocket down the right leg. A glasses case fits perfectly.

Well made pants just need 2 things changed.
Very well made work pants. I wish the pockets on the right side of the leg were also on the left side of the leg as a competitor has. I wish there was a slimmer fit option in these carpenter pants. Those 2 changes and I would recommend these pants to my coworkers.

Rear pockets and belt loops rip very easy
I purchased 3 pair of the Relaxed Fit Carpenter Denim Jeans in July 2020 for my welding class that started 2 days a week in September 2020. They require 100% cotton jeans. We had to have one pair replaced in October 2020 for free (from dickies.com) because they ripped at the crotch seam. Now all 3 current pairs (including the replacement ones) have holes where the rear pockets connect to the jean. And one pair the two belt loops ripped off. I have put patches on to help the situation on the rear pockets but I am very displeased with the quality of these jeans. They are advertised as work clothes but barely make it as school pants. Dickies offered to replace all three again. I appreciate the customer service but the it is tedious to keep contacting them about the quality issues.

Inseam was longer than what was on tag
Sad that I have to pay to have them hemmed on top of their cost! The inseam was far too long. It was not the 34 inseam I ordered!
