Pulled from the archives and designed with details in mind, the Cotton Twill Pants provide quality construction in a timeless fit that will never go out of style. These limited-edition pants are constructed from a high-grade 8 oz. cloth from Japan and made in the USA. Based on traditional workwear trousers from the 1940s and 1950s, we've updated the fit to include a tapered leg for more modern styling. The steel gray and tan color options are a nod to the most popular hues in traditional American workwear of the era. At front, two roomy pockets include a soft herringbone lining for added comfort. Additional utility is found in the rear inset back pockets with a vintage style workwear button affixed to the left pocket. The durable brass zipper fly and lock stitch hem ensure that these sturdy pants were built to last. Authentic down to the last detail, Dickies burgundy and gold logo label from the 1940s is found at the right front waistband to celebrate your appreciation for vintage inspired workwear.

Not up to the standard of the old 1922 Cramertons
I expected these to be closer to the quality of the last higher end (aka expensive) 1922 pants. Those were made from heavy Cramerton twill, made in the US, and were hard wearing. These however just feel much cheaper, and while the tag says assembled in the US the materials are imported (presumably from China). The material is thinner and nothings special, and seems to be the sort of fabric that will get worn in after just a few washes. I also found the fit on these to be slightly odd, neither standard Dickies 874 fit nor the retro fit of the older 1922 Cramertons; though of course fit will vary from person to person. Overall these were not the quality pants I was looking for, so I returned them.

Excellent vintage style.
Love these pants, wish they had more colors! The cut is great, rise is great, color is great.
