I'd buy it again
"Follow other review recommendations to size down. 6'0"", 212 lbs 44"" chest and I never wear a medium in anything, which is what I got and it fits well. I would trade 1-2"" less in the stomach area for maybe another inch across the shoulders and maybe another 1/2"" in length in the sleeves. But then again, I got a medium so. . . I expect the shoulders to break in a bit and the sleeves are no big deal. The cuff lining is a nice touch especially if rolled up. Overall very happy though. Not super heavyweight which I wanted for a milder weather coat. And as others have said, much closer to a dark grey almost navy rather than the lighter shown. I think it'll patina nice into a lighter color. Mine delivered march '24 DID come with the two way zippers which I like but no patch on the inside pocket. A hanger loop on the back either inside or outside would be nice. Water beads off but I can see re-waxing this after a season or two. Satisfied with the purchase, I'd give it a solid 7. 5/10. If you can get it on sale, it's a steal and closer to a 9/10 at a bit lower of a price point."

Sweet jacket but large mid section
"Almost got it. Waxed canvas jacket by Dickies definitely got my attention. The jacket is pretty sweet, although the sizing is quite off. I am 6’1 170lbs and got a small and I guess should have a pretty big gut because then it might fit. Sleeve length is pretty good, however, I would make the cuffs a little bit bigger and reduce the mid section a lot!! I usually wear a medium in almost everything, but per the reviews I bough a small and I am still swimming in this jacket. I am going to keep it because it is a pretty awesome jacket, but if it fit better then it would have a 5 start rating."

Excellent Jacket
"Great coat. Fits great. More of a relaxed fit. Beware if you like tight athletic fit clothing. Size down. Model must have been a midget because I thought it would cover my rear. It's a normal length coat. I'm 6'1""."

Highly durable, added comfort and stylish.
"I just finished buying the charcoal color jacket about two months after buying The tan colored one. This coat/ jacket is overall Great, It is stitched well and offers a sturdy shell to combat the wind, Spills and light exposure to the rain. Seems like it can be tear and puncture proof of how rigid the shell is yet flexible enough to allow full range of motion. It offers that classic working man look just as shown in the picture It’s stylish and very durable. I’m 6’0 207lbs and normally wear a large or XL. But I trusted the previous reviews that said go with the M medium sz if you are a L and wanted a perfect fit since it is oversized."

Runs way too big, not a warm jacket
"Despite being flannel lined, this is not a warm jacket. I'm surprised that despite the weight of this jacket, it doesn't do a lot to keep you warm. You definitely have to layer. I like my jackets roomy, but I ordered a size down and it's still too big. You probably want to order two sizes down in order to have it fit as pictured on the website. For $200 I would return this jacket if I still could."

Not thrilled but content
"Not very warm. Photos suggest charcoal has blue tint, but in reality it is just dark grey. Wax allows you easily wipe off any stains. Other jackets made with better materials range from $500-$1000, so you get what you pay for."

Waxed chore coat
"Over all I really like this coat. Pros: looks cool, I got the 2xl and it fits great in the shoulders and sleeve length. I love the blanket lining and corduroy collar. I think it’s going to age great Cons: my biggest complaint is the size of the body. It is huge in circumference. I get being oversized for layering but it’s a bit to much. A trimmer cut would be nice or maybe a waist draw string to cinch thing up a bit. Also the waxing of the fabric is not as heavy as other waxed canvas I’ve seen. The water doesn’t real bead up like on my Schaeffer range wax jacket I have. However this was roughly half the price and has a blanket lining for more warmth so it a trade off I guess. Over all I really like the coat."

Nice coat, don’t like the fit.
"I’m 6’0” 180lbs. The medium fit the arms, but is over sized in the torso. And I thought the length was a little short compared to the model, so I returned."

Work or Fashion
"Still undecided if this will make its place into my work wear. At first it is more likely to worn to the city. I like this thing. Is actually insulated and warm unlike Carhart Jackets. Just hoping it gets cold enough here in Texas to need the warmth it provides. Looks good and like all Dickies products is well made and of a fine quality. No reason this jacket wont be an airloom item when I die."
