Insulated Eisenhower Jacket

10/10 Just like the old one.

"My husband slid 500 ft down black top and shredded his old dickies to pieces. I purchased a new one to replace his. The sleeves are a little long on this new one and some loose threads, but it looks identical. The navy Eisenhower was a staple for his everyday classic look. You wouldn’t catch him without it on, even in the summer. We now have it shadow boxed in his music room. RIP Tony"

Poor Fit

"I brought this fr my husband to replace his previous Insulated Eisenhower Jackets which he bought about 15 years ago. The Exact Same size . The sleeves are too wide and Way too long. It is also made in a different Country from the first one. Someone really messed this Jacket pattern up! The picture is of the old jacket o top of the new to compare the sleeve length."

Why black color variant is a better deal ?

"About me -> 5'9", male, 70 lbs. Black Eisenhower Jacket (Insulated, Small Regular, Black Color) 👍 Has triple stitching, solid build 👍 Diamond pattern insulation liner (medium thickness) 👍 Smooth YKK golden zipper (size 5) 👍 Great cropped fit, no complaints 👍 Has size adjusting buttons in waist area 👍 Single interior pocket, 2 exterior pockets, 1 sleeve pocket, all unlined. Moss Green Eisenhower Jacket (Insulated, Small Regular, Moss Green Color) 👎 Does not have triple stitching, build quality is not as solid as black 👍 Diamond pattern insulation liner (medium thickness) 👍 Smooth YKK golden zipper (size 5) 👎 Sleeves fits slightly longer and Shoulder are wider than black variants (half inch) 👍 Has size adjusting buttons in waist area. 👍 Single interior pocket, 2 exterior pockets, 1 sleeve pocket, all unlined."

Excellent jacket, but Tall sleeves were very long

"Excellent Lined Eisenhower Jacket — especially if sleeve length is usually an issue for you. This jacket performs very well in cold weather, especially with a hoodie layered underneath, and it also handles light rain without any problems. The lining adds warmth without making the jacket feel bulky, and overall it feels durable and built to last. It’s a timeless, classic style. One of the main reasons I chose the Tall version is because most regular-size jackets from Dickies tend to come up short in the sleeves for me. Surprisingly, the Tall sleeves were extremely long — they reached all the way to my knuckles, and I have long arms. I ended up buying the Large Tall and having the sleeves tailored, which cost an extra €25. It was worth it and still a better option than going with a regular Large, but it’s something to factor into the total price. The sleeves are also slightly wide, but this didn’t bother me much and actually helps with layering. I really appreciate Dickies for offering Tall sizes, especially in Medium, since most brands don’t cater well to taller builds. My only real complaint is that there’s no interior hanging loop. For a jacket of this quality, I was surprised they didn’t include one, and it would make storage much more convenient. Overall, highly recommended. Just be aware that depending on your proportions, Tall sizing on the Lined Eisenhower may require minor tailoring — but once adjusted, it’s an excellent jacket."
