If the Sock Fits, WEAR IT!

"I got my first pack of Dickies socks a couple of months ago, and enjoyed them so much that I went back for another helping. They have a number of qualities which put them above the competition in my mind. 1) They feel great - soft, cushioned 2) Washing doesn't seem to shrink them - admittedly I wash tap cold, and that may contribute to this 3) When I do wash and dry them, they don't shed that much fiber into the dryer screen, which makes me believe they will hold up 4) The sizes are true. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe, and these are very comfortable and roomy in the toe. They still have a lot of stretch left, so I would imagine they would be fine for a size 12"

False savings; One size fits all

"The material is a bulkier than I thought, and too warm for spring, but that's not my complaint. I've noticed that sock makers are one by one refusing to make a full range of sizes. I was dubious as I've had other brands where I neither fit the only sizes they offer: S or L. A commenter who wears a size 12 shoe guessed that these might fit a person with size 9 shoe at best, and they do fit my size 9 feet. But you can find Dickies ""original"" moisture control work socks that come in an array of size elsewhere. The weight of the material would work for all but the hottest days, but more important the Medium fits perfectly. But I could not find them on the Dickies web site."

Not really for size 6-12.

"Probably fine for size 6-8 or 9, but definitely too small for my size 11-1/2 feet. I'll be donating them and looking for something similar that fits properly."

Moisture control (eww!) crew socks

"Just got these so I can't give a review that encompasses the life of the product (socks). But so far, so good. I didn't need/want six (6) pairs, just 3-4, but these seemed to offer exactly what I was looking for. They are comfortable, go on easy--some don't, not sure if it's cuz I'm a size 12-13--and I can wear them for warmth or working out. Right now they are in the top 2 I will select out of the drawer."
