Ok socks but very rough toe seam

"I bought a 6 pack of the Navigator mid crew on sale at Kohls. I'd give them a good review if not for the very large and rough toe seam. To try to smooth the seam out I'm turning them inside out and rubbing over the seam with a hammer head on a block of wood. Seems to be helping a bit. Maybe I can save them."
