874™ Pro Series Work Pants

Time will tell

"Pants feel better to me than the regular 874, but as far as longevity goes, time will tell. I still wear my regular 874 pairs to work 5 years on. I have no need for the zippered pocket on the side though I can see how some will like that. I do however like the stretch fabric in the waist. I’m in and out of a car all day and that little benefit is an upgrade. My only qualm was the stitching on one pair I bought was shoddy on the inside of a pocket and so there’s a hole in the pocket before I even wash the pair one time. Nothing I can’t fix myself, but beware."

I have several pair of

"I have several pair of these pants, khaki, black, and charcoal. So, obviously I've enjoyed them a lot and they last a long time. The zippered side pocket is great for adding security for a wallet and cellphone. My suggestion is for future designs to make the pocket a little wider for containing both at the same time because the glass face of the cellphone adhere's to a leather wallet making it difficult to pull either out. If I remember to be careful to slip the iPhone in with the glass NOT facing the wallet, all is OK!"

I purchased these for casual

"I purchased these for casual wear, wrenching in my home garage and yard work. I have found them to be comfortable with plenty of room in the seat and thigh for kneeling and squatting. The cut is a medium to high rise and they sit comfortably at my natural waist. Fabric is a medium weight familiar to hand and feel of my previous experience with Dickies work wear. Classic navy blue will hide dirt and grease stains well. Zipper appears to be proprietary to Dickies. Time will tell how robust this is. Waist button is large enough to do the job and appears to be well sewn on. Seven belt loops including 3 along the back to keep a work size belt in place. Pockets are relatively large and deep. And, I appreciate the thigh pocket that is large enough for my IPhone Max and with a fold away zipper for security. My favorite feature of these pants is the inside waist band is very comfortable and about 1 3/4" tall. I've had about 10 wearings and two washes. They come out of the dryer wrinkle free and look crisp and neat. So, why not 5 stars? I have a 31" inseam, so I was either going to get 30" or 32" length. I chose the 30" and only slightly too short. If a 31" was offered, they would be ideal. My height 5'9" Weight 135 lbs Waist 29" Inseam 31""
