Size is totally off
I ordered these along with another pair. The other pair fit well but these were at least 2 inches smaller around the waist. And I've emailed twice to try and return them and have got no reply. So I'm done with Dickies

Well unfortunately I'm disappointed in these shorts. The problem is I wear a 40/42 waist in dickies work pants. Ordered 42 and they just fit my brother who is a 38/40 waist.

Great shorts, but Dickies run Xtra small
Shorts are great, my Dickies shorts and pants last over 10 years but their waist size is always off big time-had to return these because their 36 is more like a 26

These were a size or 2 too small.
I wear a size 38 on all of my clothes, all brands. These were also a size 38 and fit too small. Don't know if I would need a 40, but no info on how to return these.

Sleek, slick,and stylish

Nice work shorts
Well made, nice stud detail, comfortable for outdoor work. Sits above hips, cut won’t allow wearing at hips. I buy/wear 34s that sit at my hips comfortably. These shorts sitting a little higher than my other pants/shorts are a little ‘snug’ as they grab just a little of my waist. Not 5 stars - great work shorts, but not all day shorts because of the cut.

Good day, glad to receive the shorts, been wearing Dickies for years. Especially the shorts. My only problem, and this happened with my recent order as well, is the inconsistency in the waist sizes. Order two pairs of size 36, and 1 fits like 34. So I have to go pay 15 bucks, they have a seamstress take it out for me. Other than that I enjoy the brand, I just wish you guys would get consistent with the waist sizes. Enjoy your day,shalom.

Regular Fit Shadow Striped Shorts
I bought 2 pair of these shorts. They are perfect for guys like me who do not like most shorts sold in stores with the way-too-short inseams. These 13 inch inseams are perfect, especially when you sit down, they don't slide up the leg. As others have mentioned, get the next size up for your waist as these do run small. Look and feel great. Thanks Dickies for making a product like this.

NOT made in the US- Run smaller than they use to.
36 is really a 34. They are not made the same. Run too small- pulled out a 36 that was about 2 years old, they fit perfect and were better quality, true 36 waist fit. These are no longer made in the US. I will not purchase again.

Got this for my 15-year old son
Hard to find 28" waist. These are perfect for my son. He hates shorts that are above the knee. So the 13" inch is perfect for him. Love the color, the fit, and the durability (my son destroys clothes while skateboarding). I might buy for my stepson, but I wish they had his size (also 28" waist) in a different color.

Buy one size up
It was hard to find a pair of shorts with this length that i could pass off as dress shorts. This is the best pair so far. Buy a size up. Wash at least once to remove stifffness . They did not shrink on first wash

Nice Lookin' Shorts
Typical Dickies work shorts. Like the useful cell phone pocket and nice to have a different style outside of the plain colours previously offered for years. The button is VERY stiff when first purchased so perhaps the clasp would have been a better choice as is in the other shorts.

These are my favorite shorts by dickies, they are the perfect length, just below the knee. After you break them in wash them and wear them a few times they will become your favorite shorts too!!! With many color options available as well!.
