Beware of your sizing
Shoppers beware of your sizing I ordered two pair of 34×32s and when I received them they were way too small in the waist the length was good so I sent them back and ordered a pair of 36×32s and they were so big in the waste and the length that I couldn't even wear them so because they're made offshore and people cannot seem to read blueprints on how to cut garments correctly you'll never get these to fit right so I had to abandon Dickies completely

Disappointed
Been using these brown carpenter jeans for years, I will not buy them anymore. Material is much thinner, front pockets are so much smaller I can hardly fit my hands in there. Really disappointed that such a great product is now not worth buying. They feel thinner that a cheap pair of jeans and should not be classified as work pants.

Inconsistent waist sizes
I have owned several of these pants over the years. Recently I bought a green pair and a brown pair of the same size. The brown pair’s waist was about an inch smaller than the green pair. So much so that I do not want to wear them.

Seem good to go

I've always loved Dickies... But they're slacking
Honestly a little disappointed. I bought the same ones I did last year for work, and side by side they're very different materials. Not as sturdy nor as thick. The fit is great I still like my pants but the biggest issue I had was I also paid for the 3 day shipping and it took almost 2 weeks to get them.

NOT WHAT DICKIES CANVAS USED TO BE
These pants are supper thin material. If you are used to heavy durable canvas duck these are not the same as what Dickies used to manufacture. The cut is also for people who like to show plumbers crack. I wont be purchasing again. Sad for a decade plus consumer of Dickies.

Great summer work pants
Good comfortable summer work pants. The hammer loop is too big and they sit slightly lower than I’d like but I still love them. Need to size way up in the waist like other Dickies.

Nice pants but defective?
I already have a few pairs of these lighter weight pants and I was happy the new ones fit perfectly and seemed to be the same quality. I was shocked and disappointed when I unbuckled then for the first time and the metal buckle went flying. I had to pound it back on with a hammer. I hope it holds, because I am only used to high quality and workmanship from Dickies.

Not for Everyone
I hadn’t tried Dickies in awhile and now I remember why. The fabric was good. The waist fit well. But these were too tight in the thighs. Walking was uncomfortable and caused the pants to dip down in the back. Also, the side pockets are not big enough for a phone, which is a must for me.

Best Dickies construction work pants!
These are the perfect lighter more flexable comfortable work pants. They have normal front pocket & not the deep rouned ones. Enough pockets for a constructions contractor. Our local Bomgaars discontinued these so we bought 4 pairs. Hans does my husbands favorite jeans.

Not What They Used to Be
Dickies duck pants are my absolute favorite. I've tried other brands but none compared. Until now. I prefer the sanded duck carpenters but apparently those are not available online and they are almost impossible to find in the wild. So I tried these out. The material has changed, dramatically. They are thinner and cheaper feeling. The fit is good and the sizes are true but I am 100% sure these will not hold up to the kind of abuse my previous pairs have. They feel more like dress pants than canvas work pants. It truly is a shame. If I wouldn't have gotten them on sale I would have returned them.

Great pants for hot weather.
Got these for land surveying in the summer. Have an older pair and like them a lot so grabbed a couple more, specifically because of the 9 oz fabric (most others are 12 oz). They are much cooler and more comfortable than my other work pants with the heavier fabric. Very well made, large handy pockets for a few tools and the lighter 9 oz cloth makes a BIG difference in the heat. Dickies, if you read this, please sell these in the sandstone color again. The light colors make a real difference to those of us who have to spend the day under the summer sun. Thanks!

About the only pants I care to wear
These carpenter jeans are great. The duck fabric is lighter than denim and much more comfortable to wear in Texas heat. I ordered from Dickies website and the pants were delivered in two days.

Difference in material
Be sure not to confuse the grades (thickness) of pants before ordering. He was very happy that they are a lighter grade fabric for the summer, but I thought I was ordering the thicker material. Although I put in the same description, I didn’t notice the difference until we received them, then went back online to compare.
