Very Satisfied, but pleading for consistency
I've purchased these Relaxed Fit Heavyweight Duck Carpenter Pants for the past couple years and have always been satisfied with the fit, color options, and especially the fact that my iPhone Pro Max with an Otter Box cover fits perfectly in the side pocket.
Now, regarding the side pocket, if Dickies could just follow suit with the Relaxed Fit Heavyweight Carpenter Jeans, that would be great, but I have about (5) pairs of the Jeans and the side pocket is too narrow and will not accept my phone without removing the Otter Box cover. Disappointing as I wear the Jeans more often than the Ducks and need the Otter Box cover as I'm in construction.
COME ON DICKIES, GET IT TOGETHER. PLEASE!!!

The stitches came out at the bottom of the right deep tool pocket after 1 week of use. Recommend both pockets be redesigned to eliminate stress on the stitches.

DUMB MOVE
The classic case of 'If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT'. Who was the genius who removed the side utility pocket on
left side of the pants below the hammer loop? That's where I put one of the most used tools I carry: a utility knife.
I'm left handed so it fit perfect and extended far enough so it was always in reach. An otherwise quality work pant
rendered somewhat useless.

The fit of the workwear pants will do the work well enough.
The quality of the material is quite god for the jobs at hand.
The layout of all the working parts of the pants is adequate for the demands in course.
The application of the stitching is consistent and finished throughout for durable purpose.

Best work pants, None like them!
I've been wearing these pants for work for over a decade. I've tried a number of similar pants by several other manufacturers but none are cut the way the 1939 pants are. The roomy legs and crotch are unmatched. I do think that they're slightly thinner than they used to be but I'm still very pleased with them. Please don't change or discontinue them, there's no substitute.
