Way too big
ordered these in a 30x30 as i normally where 28x28/28x30 but after trying these on they feel like a 34x34, totally drowning in them, will be sending these back for something closer to my size.
quality and usage for these if they fit properly would be great for my needs being indoor/outdoor in warehouse environment, they feel well built when worn, not itchy like some ripstop clothing is, quite warm for it being as thin as it is

NOT AS EXPECTED
Material much, much lighter than expected. Don't believe they will hold up on the job. Waist measurement was right on but inseam was WAY to long. Would not recommend for rugged work areas.

Great except for the pockets
I purchased three different styles of pants and all three have issues, for me, with pocket design. The waist is a bit loose but the pocket is designed with a very tight opening that makes getting my hand out with my keys or wallet is very difficult. I love the feel and fit otherwise but the pockets make further purchases a non-starter.

Great pants! Look professional and durable.
Husband is a union carpenter and loves these pants. They wash nice, dont have to iron them, last 5 pairs he had for over 2 years, very durable, he works year round, five days a week. The older pairs never fell apart but started to look bad from caulk and paint. These pants are lighter weight than dickies relaxed fit straight pants, something about the ripstop straight pants are more moveable, not stiff. Lots of pockets to hold phones, utilty knife etc.

Carpenter Pants
I bought these to where at work and outside activities. First off belt loops are small, which is odd for a work pant, and my belt struggles to get through the loop...hassle. The pants fit a little snug through the legs by comparison to what something with this waste size normally does. If I had tried these on at a store and not ordered online I would never have bought them based on fit. Not terrible for the price but too many hassles.

Quality, lightweight carpenter pants
These pants are made of 100% cotton but feel more like canvas. They're thinner than denim but the fabric feels strong.

Not to Happy
I always bought Dickies, I were them everyday. I order the same size everytime. This time it didn't work out. The pants were 2 times bagger then all my other pants I got. I don't think I'm ever buying online again. I am so sad. I guess its time to say goodbye. I just don't understand why one size doesn't apply to all pants. I'm sending them back. And if they charge me for shipping I will never buy from them again. Very SAD!!!

Small in the rear
I found the rear not so relaxed. When you bend over they ride the pass very good.
The waist needs to be a little longer. The legs where 30 inch but my tape reads 33.
Mybe they will shrink after first washing. My waist is 35 I bought 36. Was thinking about mailing back for a 34 waist but was thinking about the way the rear and the way it rides high in the pass when bending over with the smaller size. Might have been a little much for me. My thought is if they took some of the bag out of the front and moved it to the rear raised the waist a inch or so it might make me buy more.

My Favorite Work Pants
I found a pair at Farm & Fleet and bought them because they were rip stop and looked comfortable. I liked them so much I went back to get another pair and they no longer carried this style. I found them on line and have purchased 3 more pair! I like the tool pocket on the leg which doubles as a cell phone holder. I like that they iron up so nice I can wear them to work instead of kakis. I like the relaxed fit. Try them, you'll like them!

Solid pants
Got these for farm and shop work. Very comfortable and plenty of room. I also have the cargo pants as well. The carpenter is a little thicker fabric and little longer in the inseam. Waste is about the same. The belt loops are more accommodating to wide belts. I also own several pairs of the double knee pant work pants, and the rip stop pants are the first to be worn. Wouldn't recommend them for colder weather, and not as stain "resistant" as the regular polyester work pants. They are almost too nice for work wear, but great for every day wear. Little more expensive then jeans but if they last like the double knee pants they will easily outlast any kind of comfortable jeans.

love the fit
these actually run bigger than other styles of dickies pants and other brands. If your a fit skinny guy go at least on size smaller in the waist and length. If you like me and getting larger around in the middle they fit great. the low rise waist gives my belly room with out the pants wanting to migrate south, they stay up where they are supposed to be. The fabric is light but it feels heavy and thick when you wearing them.

Great pants
Online purchase. I thought I was carpenter pants made of heavier jean material. Apparently I order 3 pair of the carpenter pants made with Rip Stop fabric. I was PLEASANTLY surprised the firt day I wore these pants they are just as sturdy as the jean style I already own. Though the rip stop is sooo much lighter. I like them better.
