Great jacket to wear to work!
Great jacket for business casual dress. I am able to wear a simple t-shirt under this jacket and still be within my company's dress code guidelines. I started with the black unlined jacket and within a month, I bought a gray one too. I live in the Dallas, TX area and our weather in the fall/winter months can start around 50° in the morning and get up into to 70's by lunchtime. I can wear this unlined jacket all day with no problems.

The Best for Work
This twill blend fabric lasts a long time on the dickies 574 shirts, they satisfy me in fit and durability. I have never owned an Eisenhower jacket before and that's on me, I had luck with the insulated dickies TJ350 jacket, but I did always feel that this classic twill blend was probably more durable, and maybe is as durable as military fabric.
I love the lincoln green color. They discontinued it at one point but have re-offered lincoln green for the unlined Eisenhower for some years now. I finally just pulled the trigger on unlined Eisenhower, lincoln green- paid full price. That was the way to go. Like the 574 shirts, the pockets and collar fall where they are supposed to. There is even an inside pocket on the unlined eisenhower . It is a plain uniform and does the job- The dickies product staples are reliably available with consistent quality, and I just order them from dickies directly so there is no confusion on the specifications/product line since they make variants. Considering the fabrics known service life in my rugged work, they are less expensive than the others I am familiar with, and are a competitive price up front anyway. If Dickies offered lincoln green in the insulated version, I would probably buy one of those too- their other colors are awesome anyway. It works for me as a work jacket. It's a reliable tool, I appreciate dickies, I have personally enjoyed the best utility from their original materials and designs,- for someone else, and me at other times, utility wasnt the only priority, and so they have to mix up their offerings I am sure, but I am lucky they still offer the tough, elegant ones I associate with their brand. Normally I get the lined jacket but I wanted a thinner jacket , this is well made and durable, very comfortable , I may get another in a different color.

Stitching Error
Quality Control could be better I detagged it and wore it a few times before I noticed the stitching error on the collar I should have returned it but noticed it late.
