Love my Dickies
I am 70 years old and have lived in blue jeans ever since I was a kid. I choose to wear real work jeans rather than fashion jeans and I prefer 100% cotton. I have found for the last few years that Dickies are simply the best for style, fit and longevity as well as price. I know if I order 4 Reg the jeans will fit me perfectly. I would have preferred the choice of 100% cotton for this style, but the lighter weight and comfort are appreciated.

Love my Dickies! However, they run big. And I wish you had more than one inseam to choose from besides 32". I wear a size 6 and am 5'5".

Love these pants for work...
OK. First, I love these pants for work. I work construction a couple days a week (volunteer) restoring an old Julia Morgan house...so I needed some pants for this work. Upon reading the reviews, everyone said to go down a size...so I did. I ordered a size 2...Received them, and they fit, just a little tighter than I wanted...sent them back for a 4...4 fit well....and then I wore them all day at work..they stretched out so that I either need to wear a belt or keep pulling them up. Wish I would have kept the 2, but will probably buy another pair in a 2 and keep wearing the 4, as well. I love all the pockets, and loops to hang rags, tools, etc...They launder beautifully and dry quickly. Great pair of pants...just go down a size...

Great fabric, one length option
I’m glad that I read the reviews and ordered one size smaller than I normally would wear- my regular size would have been way too large. The size down isn’t snug by any means. The fabric has a nice soft hand and doesn’t bind anywhere- love the cut. I desperately needed to replace work pants and wanted to believe I’d found the perfect ones, but the inseam is 34”- for the lucky taller women out there this might be fine, but I need a couple of inches taken off and sewing isn’t my thing. I have long legs (or I thought that I did)! for someone who is 5’5”. 2 of the 3 pair went back and I’m hoping that the length might shrink on the 3rd pair after a few rounds of washing and drying as my husband suggested.

Finally a jean for the working woman
I love these jeans. The fit is well and comfortable . I have ordered three pair in different colors. I work for a living 😁 and for some reason women's jeans have no pockets. I need pockets! No worries, these jeans are loaded with them and so glad I have jeans with pockets! I will be buying more.

Very durable, yet comfortable and stylish jeans
I don’t know why but I’ve always loved the look of carpenter jeans on both men and women. Somehow I stumbled across these. I read tons of reviews, all good, but most saying to down size 2 sizes. I found a couple girls, similar to my height and weight, so I ordered a 6, even though I’m a true 10. Man I wish they wouldn’t have been so snug. I really liked them a lot. Perfect length, waist was perfect (just under my belly button), loved the look of the rear, nice leg size…just all around perfect but snug. It was a super simple return process and before I go and re-order a size 8, I’m going to see if I can find them in any of the local stores so that I can try them on first before purchasing. But I know the 8 will be perfect.

Nice pants, runs big
These pants are a nice soft denim, very well made, but they run very large. In Dickies women’s cargo pant I wear a 10, in the women’s carpenter pant I wear an 8, but in the denim carpenter the 8 is too big even after washing. The area above the crotch is bubbled by too much material, it is higher waisted than I would like and it is so long I have to cuff them almost 2 inches. I don’t mind a little bit of slack since I do wear them to work in, but this might be a bit much.

Womens Carpenter Jeans
I LOVE these Carpenter jeans, they are very well made and I love the way they look, BUT you have to know that they run really BIG! I am normally a size 8 and I had to order a size 4! Even the 4 is a bit roomy..., so if I ever order them again..., I'll be ordering a 2!

After one wash and dry - PERFECT!
Very comfortable. When I tried them on right out the package, they felt big and I almost returned them. I decided to put them in the washer and dryer instead. Perfect. Will be wearing them a long time. I am artist and these pants were just what I was looking for for working around the house, in the garden, and in my studio.

Perfect Fit
It is so nice to have jeans with real pockets! I have been wearing a size 8 in other brands of jeans, and many of them were too tight in the legs and too loose in the waist - not comfortable at all. I was ready to give up on wearing jeans at all, until I found these. I ordered a size 6 and they fit perfectly in the legs and the waist. I am 5'6" and weigh about 150 and I am over 65. Dickies has restored my faith in wearing jeans. These have become my one and only pair of jeans to wear. Thanks Dickies!

Much better than Levi’s 501’s.
I’ve worn Levi’s 501’s for 50 yrs. They’re not making them like they used to. Dickie’s are much more comfortable. They look better also. Plus lots of great pockets!

Tough and Versatile
These are a great work and every day wear jean. I love the side pockets, they let me put my phone in them, avoiding having to have a side clip for it or putting it in my back pocket. They last a long, and hold up to wear and tear. They do run large and slightly long. I order a size down from what I normally wear.

The only Carpenters for me
I love these jeans! They're comfortable and durable. I made them part of my work uniform and won't wear anything else. They have all the pockets I need and the thickness I need for safety at work. It's like they're made just for me : )

Size down (i.e., get one size smaller)
I love my carpenter jeans. They are exactly what I was expecting. And they're not stiff; they're comfortable. I highly recommend getting one size smaller. I usually take a size 4, and a size 2 fits perfectly (Can you imagine? A size 2!).

Not the same style as before/too big
I bought a pair like these 2 years ago and they were great! The pair I ordered this time are not the same, stitching is tan/brown, not blue as shown in photo and sizing is very off. I knew from the reviews to size down..so I bought a 6 and 4, previously owned an 8 but I lost weight so needed smaller size anyway. The 6 were larger than the 8’s and the 4’s are still slightly big but I like them a little loose since I wear them for work. A size 2 probably would have fit perfectly. Length is always an issue for me but I’m short and don’t mind cuffing my pants. Just beware to size down if you buy these.

Great look and feel!
The jeans are awesome. I wish I would've ordered smaller though. I ordered for my waist size, but I could've probably gone one size smaller. They are also super long. I love them though, I just wear them cuffed and for hiking and yard work not for everyday. Next time I'd size down.

Great quality jeans! I bought size six but they are to big so I bought size four and they too are big. I should of ordered size two. I am 5'6' and weigh 125 pounds if that would help anyone who wants to order a pair.

Cute, not work practical
They are a nice looking pant,, but definitely not something I'd wear to work. Maybe just yard work or something lite. The fabric is thin, the pockets are so small its a joke. Apparently if you are female you don't use pockets for anything other than change. You can't fit a phone in side pcket, and theres only 1 side pocket.
