Every inch of Dickies’ Performance Waterproof Breathable Jacket is engineered to keep you dry and comfortable. The attached storm hood, adjustable cuffs and drop tail hem are protective features that work to keep you dry. The Durable Water Repellent finish keeps you dry with its waterproof abilities, while the breathable design allows excess body heat to escape, so you’ll be dry and comfortable. Breathable.... ???
I have this jacket and overall I'm happy with it. It's light weight, protects from the elements and is waterproof. My problem is with "breathability". I just got back from a Fall walk, temp was approx. 10c. Under the jacket I was wearing a light weight long sleeve tshirt. When I got home after an hour or so my shirt back was soaked with sweat. Just to clarify, I wasn't jogging or speed walking, just a regular stride.

Really well made, professional quality.
I was a little bit reluctant to buy this jacket because of sizing issues in the past, but one review gave me a clue as to the size that I actually needed; go one size larger! I’m please with the quality and the fit overall. I ordered this jacket for a trip to Alaska and the rainy summer conditions there in summer and for the occasional heavy rain in South Texas; I believe this jacket is going to workout just fine.

waterproof breathable jacket
I use the jacket as a water resistant wind breaker with a base layer shirt and t shirt on daily bases some times i also use a thermal long sleeve when it is under 40 degree while working(window washer) outside on ladder in cold wind, it hold body heat with other clothes well enough for me.

Jacket definitely keeps out the rain, is somewhat breathable (in terms of fabric) & is surprisingly fairly warm to wear alone on a Spring or Fall morning (ie: ~ 6C to 15C) with just a t-shirt under!

Keeps off the rain, is breathable & surprisingly warm if combined with a hoodie in 0C to 12C spring weather (not sure how well it'll hold up in 0C to -10C Fall or Winter weather though). Fits a bit larger, but that's a good thing if you intend to layer a sweater for extra warmth underneath in colder weather).

Great Product!
I bought this coat for 3 season use. It is everything it was described as, very waterpoof and breathable with a nice slim fit. The arm length is exact so make sure you use their guidelines or you'll end up with 'short-sleeves'. Excellent workwear.
