These Boys' FLEX Skinny Fit Pants, 4-20, offer a more fitted look, allowing boys to move as seamlessly without getting caught on anything. These pants are slim in the seat and fit just below the waist. They look and feel great for both school and play. The FLEX fabric is durable, flexible, and also stain- and wrinkle-resistant. Great for tall and lean kiddos.
My son is 12, tall and lean - these pants were suggested to me by someone else who is tall and lean. They look great on my kiddo and he can move freely in them. His inseam is 29.5 and we went with the '14'. They fit perfectly with very slight room to grow. He still requires a belt, c'est la vie.

It's not the same good quality thick material
I purchased four pairs of these pants from
Amazon and it's not the same thick good quality material as the one's that I bought last school term the material has changed dramatically , the material is much thinner and very wrinkle I purchased these for my thirteen year old for school ....

Quality pants
These are great pants and good quality. The pants need an adjustable waist band, bigger side pockets and the the multi-use pocket would be hard pressed to fit one of the smallest cell phones. I like the fit, style and neatness of these pants and can be worn for every day use.

No Adjustable Waistband
My son is tall for his age but also quite slim. This is the first pair of boys pants we've bought in a long time that didn't have an adjustable waist, and they're far too wide for my son. We'll have to wait at least a year until they'd fit them, and maybe the pants will be too short by then. The quality of the pants seems decent, but I'm very disappointed with the lack of adjustable waistband, which seems to be pretty standard on boys pants these days.

Fits thin boys well
The pants aren't exactly stretchy "skinny jeans"--just cut slim in the leg and waist. They look more tailored than Dickies "Slim Performance Pants" option or their "Classic Fit" option. Those two styles look baggy and a little sloppy in the legs for thin boys.
