Great jacket
Brought the jacket for work. I wore the jacket that was 38 degrees in Las Vegas and it kept me warm. Now I need something for my legs.

I very good jacket with hood
I bought this jacket, thinking it was like my previous softshell from Dickies. It's not the same, but it's similar in that the material is the same and its weatherproof. What I do like about the jacket is its warmth and comfort as I'm working. I like the new zipper as well. The old zipper was a fine tooth zipper and easily broke after a lot of wear.
What I don't like is the pockets, both interior and exterior. The interior pockets are too deep, making it difficult to retrieve items. The exterior pockets are good sized, but no zipper. This doesn't allow the user to zip items shut and there is no way to contain items.
I rated this item 4 stars because of its lightness and warmth. I'm an ironworker by trade and this is a huge plus because wearing bulky clothing hinders ability at times.

Not what I expected
I expected a shell-with-lining jacket, a water resistant 'wind-breaker' shell with some sort of lining permanently sewn in. This jacket is made of a thick material that is coated on one side with a little bit of fuzzy stuff. For something called Flex Softshell, it is surprisingly stiff. Because of the stiffness, it is bulkier to stow than my shell-over-fleece jacket.
Inside pockets are 15 inches deep and 7 inches wide at the bottom, lots of room inside. But, the opening into the pocket is 3.75 inch, way too small to put a hand in. So whatever goes into the pocket better be at least 12 inches tall so that it can be retrieved with a thumb-and-finger grip. Gotta hold the jacket upside down and shake it to retrieve anything smaller.

Great jacket windproof and water repelling
Bought this due to the wet spring we have been having. It keeps you warm from wind and no matter how much rain it just wicks off. Great jacket. Only complaint is the hood is very deep hard to work with at times.

Excellent light jacket
This coat is perfect for work in the rain and cold without being too bulky or hot to keep on while moving fast or driving. It fits large & comfy and has wonderful open cuffs on the sleeves that allow me to wear a watch and gloves with no issues at all. 5 stars!
