Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bit pricey w/out discount but BEST choice for work My husband has worn nothing but Dickies work pants for many years. I recently took a job at a flower farm & quickly used up all my "work pants" (jeans & other cotton pants). Once with nothing else to wear I wore a pair of my husbands Dickies! Even being too big & with the bad "man" fit they still worked great! I immediately wanted my own. Ripstop durable enough for work but not heavy or too hot, even in warmer weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fitting pants I purchased these green pants to wear with my scouting uniform. Very comfortable, loved that they came unhemmed so that I could easily set the length just right, perfect amount of pockets, and so pleased that there is enough room in the thigh area and the waist is small enough to not gap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fit This is my second round of buying this particular style pants. They fit nicely, last long, and are extremely comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, just not the fit for my body. I purchased these pants to be used for hiking. The fabric is perfect, durable but not too stiff and would resist tears from thorns and would not pick up burrs. I LOVE all the pockets. The waistband has a hidden elastic that expands as needed. I thought I found perfection but the fit was not quite right for my shape. I find it helpful when reviews are detailed so will tell you my waist is about 30.5 and hips 37, not curvy. The seat area of the pants felt good with room to move but not baggy. The legs are generous as the product description notes. On me, the waistband gaps in the back. I should have known these would not work for me since I need a contoured waistband. Also, with all the features, the waistband is thick. It's not an area I need the appearance of more girth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fit And great quality. They run true to size and look good on. Ripstop fabric is sturdy and pockets comfortable and useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for work I bought these for work. I needed the pockets for all the sets of key that I carry at any given time. I love the fact that they were unfinished at the hem so I could make them the length I need. I'm 5'2" and in between a petite and regular length. These pants are a little baggie in the legs and seat, but that works for me because I can climb in and out of trucks easily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Chart and sizing don't match According to the sizing chart I would fit a size 4. However, the pants felt like a full size larger than the chart sizing. Love the pants but they didn't have a size 2 to exchange

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best I love the stretch that these pants have all over. Pockets very handy. Water & sweat resistant.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Wide Legged In the photo, the pants legs appears to be more slim cut ...but they are not. I did order 1 size up and they did fit well overall at the waist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as described Pants were unfinished. The sizes run very small, I ordered two pair (size 10 and size 12); I normally wear an 8. Both sizes fit the same. Pants are stiff. Returned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rated # 1 I work outside & I love these pants. Rain & sweat is not visible in the pants, they look nice & comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid pants I bought these pants to try out as a replacement for my 5.11 tactical pants due to them no longer fitting me and they are expensive to replace. The main reason I bought these is because they were on sale. After receiving the pants and trying them out they are pretty solid and comfortable. The biggest draw back is having to get them hemmed. There also is a weird thumb hole sort of thing in the front pockets that goes all the way through the pants, potentially at the right angle allowing you to see your underwear. I'm not sure the purpose of this feature. I'm in a size six jeans currently and these pants in a size six are a bit baggy. I ordered another pair in a size four and they fit better. Overall I would recommend these pants and am happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I bought these pants to wear to work because I do a lot of bending over. These are the best so far for the pockets and the stretche material. They have a lot of give in the hips and I really like the waist band. It is very loose and comfortable also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only pants I wear I am a training officer at a State Academy, being in public safety I would HIGHLY recommend these pants. They run true to size, roomy in the butt and thighs for when you are doing defensive tactics, repel stains, and dry quickly. When I first saw these pants I bought them because of the hidden cuff pouch in the middle of the back. I love having cuffs secured in a pocket instead of having them hanging from my pants, bouncing around in my pocket, or having to attach a pouch to my belt since I don't wear a duty belt. I have bought six pairs of these over the years and hope Dickies NEVER gets rid of them. Now of course there are a few cons, but not many. I'm a short girl, barley over 5 feet. When I get these pants, unhemmed, its almost comical how long they are. Yes, I get it, the tall girls need pants too. I just wish you could order them hemmed to the size you would like. I do not sew and have to hunt down a friend to do it for me. I have to say these pants get a lot of wear, and hold up really well. Of course over time, they do, and they all wear out in the same place. The inner thigh area. They last a long time...just watch out, I don't want anyone in this field showing their underpants to coworkers or offender.. Took about 18 months of wearing these pants all the time before I needed to replace them with a new pair. Lastly, I have recommended these pants to several students. They are always shocked to find out they are Dickes and not a brand that so many agencies swear by. I have had tried those brands as well, not even close. If I ever find out these pants are being discontinued I will buy 10 pair, maybe more. I don't want to have to work without them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curvy Girls look no further! I am a curvy cut lady (large rear, small waist), and I have a hard time finding pants that will fit my rear and thigh and calf and not look I painted them on. I work in a manufacturing plant so I was trying to find a pair of pants that were durable, comfortable and easy to move in. These pants do it all! The other perk is the pockets! There are more pockets on these pants than you can shake a stick at. I'm typically a size 14 curvy in jeans and I did have to go up a size to a 16 in the Dickies pants...this does put a small gap at my lower back but I wear a belt anyway. I love these pants and I look really cool in them. I'd buy them again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made Bought these for my daughter who is a curvy 14 average. Both these and the curvy fit stretch twills ran a little short in the rise. Well made and good quality and value, just a little off in the sizing for her.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Roomier than I expected When I ordered these I feared they’d fit like certain women’s police officer pants, like a sausage casing, which makes me embarrassed for them. I bought a size 10 rather a size 8 because I wanted to be sure they weren’t too tight for my active job and the summer heat. Loose is typically better for me. I didn’t realize the elastic expansion band in the waist was as stretchy as it is. You can be a lot thicker in the middle than your pants size and still have room to breathe. So ladies, you can buy your actual pant size and be fine. They’ll still have plenty of give. Once I send mine back for a smaller size, I’ll let you know how they fit. Otherwise, I like all of the pockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them! I bought them for landscape work. They are great for the summer because they breath and aren’t heavy. The fit is comfortable and the waist band is thick with built in elastic for a fit that won’t slip down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality pants The pants are as described. I wear them often while working on vehicles. They stretch enough to where the pants don't rip when I have to step high to climb in and out of high trucks. I'll probably buy another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Field Pants I am an environmental scientist and work outside on long days. First of all, I am very tall, and these pants come unhemmed which was the biggest draw for me since I rarely can find pants that are long enough for me, but I love these pants for so much more. These pants are extremely comfortable, have just the right amount of stretch and are durable for hiking through the brush. They aren’t thick enough to stop the Himalayan blackberrries, but they do keep one cool on extremely hot summer days. I love all of the pockets. There is one the perfect size for a smart phone on the right side and the cargo pockets are a great addition to my field vest for gear. The only problem with the cargo pockets is that they might have too many hidden pockets inside and I tend to dig around longer than I should in order to find things sometimes. I also love the hidden pocket in the back at the waistband. The best part of these pants is the hidden elastic band in the waist that prevents gaping and or construction when bending over. I like these better than 511’s and they are 1/2 the price!!!ni

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best "work horse" uniform pant This is my 2nd round purchase for the Women's Tactical Stretch Ripstop pants. The workmanship is menswear but the FIT is all womenly! Imagine this; the feel of your most comfortable pant (stretch and moves with you) but the durability of your best fitting jeans. Deep pockets; that's unheard of in women's career wear. The material is outstanding as it repels rainwater, spills, and every day splatter. & pockets plus there are hidden pockets within pockets. Incredible recovery after multiple wears and washes. Military grade ripstop material and a great fit. I am 5'10" and about 155# - Size 12. I had to go up to the size 12 because of my hips (41"). Wearing a belt + the incredible built it technology in the waist band construction really makes for a remarkable fit and tailoring. Go to your local craft store and ourchase Heat n Bond Hem tape. Use DRY heat and no steam in your iron and you can tailor your pants the same day they arrive. This pant is my best investment ever for a professional look and looking good in uniform apparel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit I bought these for field work and they are great for all weather. I wish the description had noted how stretchy the waist is, but they fit wonderfully! Had to hem them of course

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So many pockets! I bought these for work as s concert security guard. I can fit everything from extra pens and notebooks to fruit snacks and sandwiches into my pockets. The waistband works overtime when I load the kitchen sink into the pockets but still no buttcrack shows!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and perfect tacitcal pants I've tried a few pairs of Dickies, and these are my favorite so far. The fit is really nice and fits great around my waist, it doesn't reveal my back or anything while still allowing full range movement. Although, there's an expandable waist I didn't really need it and it still fit nice and snug so i kind of wish there was a version without the expandable waist because i feel like it adds another layer there. It was inconvenient that these were unfinished because then i had to take it to a tailor and get it hemmed. It helped that I got it at a discount so it was ok that I had to get it hemmed but if it was regular price I think it can get a little pricey. All in all, I like these pants and will look at getting another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely flexible pants! Put to the test I haven't worn these pants yet to work yet but I just got a job as a deckhand on a boat which is a physical job. I know I will need a pair of pants that will be flexible enough for me to do my job without worrying about the pants not being able to bend in a certain direction. So I put these pants through a test of bending, squatting, sitting, kneeling, climbing, and even sitting "crisscross applesauce" and they passed with flying colors with no pant adjusting needed to get into these positions! I bought three different cargo style pants from here to try and these are the only flexible ones out of all, plus they are a bit thinner fabric the thickest feeling part is the sides of the thighs were the pockets are. These pants run small, I have 37 inch hips with an athletic build. I bought a size 8 and they fit great I especially like the waistband because it has a stretch to it so I will be able to bend over easily or be bloated and will not feel uncomfortable. Also the belt line of these sit about 1 inch below my bellybutton and they have a good rubber on the inside to keep your shirt tucked in. The pockets on these pants are really deep which is a plus because that is hard to find in women's pants. The zipper is a tiny bit too long for my liking but that is just a small part of the look for me. All in all I think these are the best pants for my active job because they look nice but they are very durable. I will be buying at least one if not two more pairs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the Pant but Not the Size I had to get a size 6 because 4 was not available. I feel like they're hanging off me. I have a 32" waist so for a size 6 to slip off is pretty big. I'll have to get them altered a bit just to wear comfortably but I like the pant. My only other complaint is that I wish they were to the waist and not below the hip. Since they're for work which I assume most women buy them for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the Pants BUT... I love these pants, but you never have my size in the color I need. I would love to get a couple more pair in the Desert Sand in a size 4, but it is never available. I have been watching for months! VERY FRUSTRATING!
