Probably not what you are expecting
Although they are promoted as “Heavyweight” and “full cushion” the thickness and cushioning are about average. I was hoping they would be equivalent to my other pairs of very thick socks officially manufactured by Dickies, when I reached out to Dickies customer support to ask about this, including a photo of the ones I was looking for, they pretty much blew me off and were uninterested in assisting.

I've worn Dickies socks for last 2-3 years and love them but, I can't get the same sock. Specifically, the Dickies I have (2-3 yrs. old), the elastic at top of sock expands easily, their comfortable and they stay up. Unfortunately, their beginning to wear out. The recent orders I've made I have returned simply because there's little expansion of the elastic at top of sock which then makes them too tight and uncomfortable.

They are advertised as a "Crew" sock but they go almost to my knee and I'm 5'11. I have the black dickies and they are way much shorter and true crew in my opinion

Just an ok sock
These socks are okay but, in my opinion, heavyweight they are not. My older ones were thicker in the foot bottom adding more padding. These are very thin in the foot bottom. Also, I ordered crew and these are over the calf. If you don't mind a thinner over the calf sock then these are for you.

No doubt they are Comfortable, but the only issue is that they are getting thinner so you go through the ends of the socks even if you don't wiggle your toes.

I'll buy them again and again
I had bought these socks in 2019 and loved them. They're thick and last and last.
They're mostly cotton and feel comfortable in hot weather. The new ones I got had a "New! IMPROVED" sticker on them. They feel a lot tighter than the ones I bought in 2019, but I hope they will loosen up as I wear and wash them.

I bought these and the won't go up past my ankles. The ones I bought at Walmart are the same and there great.

I previously purchased dickies crew socks in black and was expecting the same only white. These aren't crew, they are knee socks. They're twice the height of my black ones. Had to return them.

I purposely bought these socks because I already have 3 pair of white ones and I don't remember where I bought them. I decided to just get on the Dickies site and order some more because they are absolutely the most comfortable crew socks I have ever worn. A bit too large size 9 shoe
The socks I purchased from a retailer had GOLD "Dickies" stitching at the toe. Thought maybe new and improved - not. The MANY pair I own with black stitching are superb, long wear life and perfect fit. If at a retailer don't get the gold stitching.
