This regular fit twill pant sits at the waist, with a traditional fit through the seat and thigh with slightly tapered leg openings. The pant is crafted from a strong, wrinkle resistant poly/cotton twill work cloth, which has a stain-release finish to prevent stains from setting in. Designed to last in tough work environments, it has a resilient 2-piece waistband. Our signature tunnel belt loops provide enhanced support for belts. An extra pocket on the leg provides added storage.

Need more sizes and colors!!!
Great pants, ordered these in a 36x34 fit a little tight, went back to order them in 38x34 so they could fit me a little roomier, turns out they didn't have this size, and also found they didn't have black and charcoal grey anymore :(

Good manufacturing but different than the last
I ordered these by a part number I found on my old pants Thinking that they would be the same. Not so. These have smaller front pockets however the pocket material is thicker. They have a hook instead of a button above the zipper witch is not a big deal other than I can repair a button myself a hook maybe not. Other than the differences the pants are well put together and good manufacturing. I ordered direct from Dickies and was very happy with that experience. And of course I will continue to order from Dickies.

Purchased 4 pairs of Multi-Use Pocket Work Pants. I really like the fit of these pants. I usually wear Dickies 874 pants. These are the exact same fit, plus the addition of a cell phone pocket on the right leg. They're great.

Actually 4 & 1/2 stars
I'd prefer a button-through waist closure to hook and eye. Cinching up a belt tightly can undo the hook and eye. Not a big, deal but worth the half star. These pants are excellent: well constructed, quality easy-care fabric, dressy appearance (the military khaki, yes!). I have three pairs and another pair on the way. The pocket is genius. Have no doubts...Dickies products are always good!

Good work shorts and pants...BUT...
I’ve been wearing Dickies work pants for years. This is the first time I’ve ordered online. Pants are great quality, my only complaints are personal preferences. I don’t like the hasp closure, a button would be better for me because when you tighten your belt it comes undone. I also wish the belt loops were a bit wider, you can barely fit a belt through unless it’s a thin dress belt. The fabric seems durable, but is very stiff. I would recommend to someone with a strenuous job like mine to opt for the cotton pants vs the cotton/polyester blend. Otherwise, pants are well made and durable.

Not as good as the same pant 15 years ago.
I'm not sure you want this review for public consumption. I bought several pair of the same pant about 15 years ago and have worn them almost daily since. They are finally wearing out so I bought these new ones as replacements. This review, then is a comparison old to new. You have made a number of changes -- some good, some ok, and some bad. You have lowered the fifth pocket on the leg -- good but you have deleted the snap -- not good. You have switched from a jeans type button closure to a steel hook and loop -- bad. You have switched to tunnel belt loops -- good --- but they will no longer accept a 1 5/8 wide belt -- bad. You have kept the very robust material for the pockets -- great -- but the old design had a horizontal bottom seam -- the new ones taper downward to a point -- VERY bad. Use in the yard and field results in twigs, leaves, dirt, etc into the pockets --now all that collects in the point -- hard to get rid of and will accelerate the pocked tip wear. The fabric of the pant is not as comfortable as the old ones - not good. The construction of the crotch seam has been changed (used to have gussets) which changes the fit somewhat -- not good.
Still an excellent pant -- but not nearly as good as the old ones.

Excellent Product
I bought a couple of pairs of these at a local big box store because they were on sale. I am now here on the Dickies website because it is just so convenient.
These are great work pants. Durable and comfortable... the large "extra" pocket is perfect to fit a cell phone... of a couple of tools.

Multi-pocket work pants
Work pants are Basically the original 874's with cell pocket on side.
I use the pocket for my smokes. Pants maybe a little thinner then 874's or jus a little more soft. Overall they are a great pant, either for work or play.
If u need a extra pocket on side of pants & like the O.G 874's these are jus what u need. Recommended

Khaki Pants
I bought these pant for work. They run one size too small, so order one size above your normal waist. The length was good. I think I will return these and order the FLEX pants (same pants but in a flex material). I bought the flex jeans and the fit is awesome, love them, much more comfortable than regular jeans. I've been wearing the carpenter pants for the past 10 years for work, some of them are still in use after 3-4 years, however, they are very baggy. Looking for a change and may have found it in the flex khaki pants, we'll see when they arrive.

Great pants, but...
Love the pants themselves, the design, pockets... But: a) I ordered 38x32, they are labeled 38x32, but they fit exactly like 36x32, b) I use the leg pocket for my cell phone, and the snap closure inside the pocket may scratch my screen.

Best work pants ever, but where are the CHARCOAL?
I bought these pants 7 years ago and got on to replace some worn out pairs, but the charcoal color is gone? Come on, Dickies!
And I don't want any relaxed fit, stretch, cool guy nonsense. I just want the regular fit with the mutli-use pocket in charcoal, PLEASE!

Extra Pocket!
I have been very pleased with the sibling product which does not feature an extra pocket, but when I needed a new pair of pants I chose this item because of the extra pocket. I'm very glad I did, for I really use that extra pocket. Most other people seem to use it for their cell phones, but I use to hold an easily accessible array of different writing pens. I work in food service in a kitchen, and I need 4 different pens to write on various surfaces. This pocket allows me to keep them in order and to access them without getting tangled up in my apron. The other really huge benefit of these pants, and similar twill Dickies Pants, also, is that they line dry very quickly. I am very poor and do almost all my laundry by hand in the bathtub, and these pants wash and dry by hand very well. Dirt comes out easily, stains do not set (easily), and they line-dry (by hanging up) overnight. Excellent!
