Durable but Changes in Length and Waist Fit
This exact item number was a 5-star in 2019 when I last purchased, but since them, the length of the regular has increased and I had to exchange for a short. (Not a shoe change issue, they were pooling even with thick soles on). The waist has changed also. It used to be more feminine and I curve up at the waistZ now they are straight across and I have to wear a belt to close up the gapping. These are still highly durable and flexible (I work in a grocery store so there’s a lot of squatting and walking (which equals thigh rubbing) and wash weekly - wash on cold and hang to dry). I will likely repurchase or may look into another Dickies style.

Disappointed
I’ve purchased this style of pant previously. The quality of material has changed and not for the better. In one pair the hem is two inches longer on one leg and the second pair the entire inseam is bunched up. Also, the weight of material is very thin. Very disappointed.

I had high hopes with how highly I hear Dickies talked about, so I was shocked at the product. The material is so scratchy that I think I will be itching for days just from trying them on. This doesn’t mention if you have any curves, they won’t fit because they are straight than a pencil. The bottom was bell bottoms and the top wouldn’t get up over my butt. They got an extra star because length was great for talls.

Length is great but fit like men's pants
I have bought these pants for work for years because they are well made and are available in tall. However, I always have had to order them in a larger size because they fit too tight in the seat like men's pants would. I have to wear a belt because the pants are too large in the waste. Sadly, I am returning these and have decided to go with another brand that has a more attractive fit. I hope in the future that Dickies will make pants that fit women better since it is one of the few affordable options in tall. I previously purchased a different Dickie's pant that fit more like women's pants should fit but no longer see them on the web site.

Favorite pants
Previously I reviewed them and complained that the ankles were too wide. I washed and shrink them a little and they are basically perfect now, just like the pair I bought a couple of years ago..
I just really wish they came in charcoal or rinsed black. I’d buy more pairs.

Too Wide at the Ankle
The pants (black, 18 R) fit very well in the waist, but as many others have mentioned, the regular length pants are long and incredibly wide at the ankle. Wider than boot cut. Way too wide for me. I will try to exchange them for a different pair… I am curious what the boot cut pant is like considering how boot cut the regulars seem to be.

Almost perfect
Like some other reviewers, I got the ‘short’ length—i’m 5’2”—and I still had to roll these about four times to get them to be a decent length on me. Other than that though, they’re extremely flattering and comfy.

Keep a lint roller if you buy the black pair
The pants fit well and were very comfortable. However, the black pair will literally find dust and fuzz and hold on to it like your life depends on it. The khaki pair were great.

The material is super comfortable and forgiving.
Con
I don't like that the pants have two different types of back pockets. One is button while the other is open.
The amount of space you have between the crotch seam and waist is NOT good for people with naturally high waists.

The perfect pants
I bought these pants to work in. These Dickies fit me perfect. I am 5'3 and getting the short length was perfect. They are very comfortable and easy to move in as far as bending. I like that they sit on the waist. I was very happy with my purchase. Thank you Dickies.

I can't believe these are work pants
I really like the smooth texture of pants. They are supposed to be rugged. Yet the feel so nice. The fit is great and medium length was lo g enough for me. The pockets are large enough to actually put somthing in them, unlike standard women's clothing. They are very durable. However, the stain release feature eventually wears off with repeated washing.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for good looking, work pants in food service to purchase these.
The website way very easy to use and returns are so easy.

Small waist; Long, Wide Legs
Runs small. I ordered a size up and they were still too snug. Legs are very wide at the bottom, and as with all Dickies pants, they're also a mile long. Even the "short" version is longer than most other brands' regular length. Otherwise, comfortable and nice enough for the office, but also casual enough for running errands.

Stay away if you have thick thighs
Bought these for work cuz I heard they were “indestructible” and just overall good pants but even in my regular size for pants there was absolutely no extra room in the seat and thighs. In fact, I’ve barely had these pants for a few months and they’ve ripped on inner thighs. This has happed with 2 pairs so far so I probably won’t be buying again since they can’t last.

I have hips now that I’ve had children, and my pants fit me great after ordering them online. Excellent work pants. The only reason why I returned them is because I changed my mind about starting a job.

Women’s Relaxed fit pant. item number FP321DN
My last order I ordered two size 14 short. The one fits me perfectly the other is or must be a long because it is about 5 inches longer in the inseam than the other one. So now I will have to pay to get it hemmed which is about $12. I haven’t opened this most recent order yet that includes four size 14s of the same item
