Fit well
These shorts fit well - love the loose fit. Not crazy about the huge belt loops. I don't have wide belts, like the ones featured in he photos of the product. Overall, they are pretty much exactly what I wanted -- inexpensive shorts that I can wear this summer.

Seemed okay but were returned
I bought these "Flex 13" Loose Work Shorts thinking they had "Flex" in the waistband. They don't. The "Flex" is all in the hips and thigh areas. The quality seemed good but I returned them and decided to buy the standard 13" Loose Work Shorts instead. I wish Dickies would make pants and shorts with a "Flex" waistband in all of their colors.

Best brand of pants

Not true to size
I bought these online because of the stores being closed for regular shopping. My normal waist size is 38, however, trying these on, I could not get the buttons to clip and they were uncomfortably tight around the waist.
I recommend going up a couple sizes to ensure fit.

Great shorts!

Nice but...
I have been wearing Dickies daily for many years. All through high school and even til this very day (12 year later). I love these shorts and have a hard time finding a good fit, I have 34” shorts that I’ve had since high school and they fit awesome but they’ve also stretched over the decade of ownership.. These flex shorts fit great right out of the box. But after one wash they shrunk!

I have been wearing dickies shorts over 20years. And again they didn't let me down, as I'm a bigger man at 54' waist I wish there where more colors like ATLEAST white or beige or carpenter shorts and 11' long 54' loose fit shorts of any color would be really nice thank you love the product overall

Good Quality Work Shorts
I do Pool Service and as such I'm kneeling and bending a lot, working with lots of chemicals, and am in intense summer heat of CA. I went with the 13" inseam because I wanted shorts long enough to cover my knees when I have to get down to one knee (I'm 5'9") and these shorts do that perfectly. Pockets (unlike many of the Dickies pants) are generous in size, never have to struggle diggin through my pockets. These shorts seem to breathe well in the heat. No complaints. When I need new work shorts I just come back on here and re-order the same ones.

I messed up but the return process was a hassle
I messed up by ordering 13” inseam Flex shorts, when I needed 11” but I called customer service and they were great and sent me a return label but then it wouldn’t print right. It would’ve been better if they sent the label as an attachment rather than an image in the body of the email. Great products at Dickies, but better service or outcome supporting the return process would have been appreciated. Thanks

Dickies Flex Shorts
I was excited to have learned that Dickies had come out with a new Flex design in their work shorts and I couldn’t wait to try a pair of them. So I ordered a pair of Flex loose fit in my usual size of 36. When I received them and tried them on they ended up being to small in the waist and had to return them.
So if you are looking to try these, make sure to buy one size bigger.

Crisp, clean work shorts
How exciting to buy 4 pairs of new dickies work shorts. My original shorts are over two years old and starting to wear out with holes. BUT they are still very comfortable. So I order the same shorts and the same size but they are much tighter and the comfort is gone. Hopefully they will loosen up a bit. i don’t want to deal with return

My husband loves
This flex material is great. I usually need to wash my husband's shorts at least 3x before the stiffness begins to break and they are comfortable. But these are soft and comfortable and seem just as durable.

Definetly Not Loose
I have brought the exact same shorts from Walmart and they fit well. Walmart no longer had them so I brought them online from Dickies and the size runs too small. I am sending them back. I have wore the same size shorts for over 20 years and sometimes the size does vary over different brands but I don't know if the same company has had a size change like this before. I am disappointed.

The hips and seat are loose as advertised. But the waist is not true to size, it’s too tight and does not match the loose seat and hips.

Flex Shorts are the Future. The future is now!
I've worn Dickies shorts for a number of years now. I guess I like the durability and the sleek look that regular cargo shorts can't provide. I enjoy the side pocket that provides room for my phone or whatever tool I was previously using. Heck, it's even a great spot for my next beer I'm about to drink. Just when I thought we've reached the pinnacle of shorts technology the new Flex work shorts blessed my wardrobe. The flex shorts are a complete game changer! No longer do I have to worry about maxing out the range of motion of my Dickies shorts. If there is a downside to the traditional shorts I would say the lack of full range of motion is the only demerit. Now I move freely from all limitations. Run faster! Jump higher! No more restrictions from shorts! Come across a group of wrong-doers, no sweat! Complete spinning roundhouse kicks like never before! Hiking in the mountains and come across a giant moose protecting her kin?!? No prob! Run jump and dive with ease. Zig zag and juke your way to safety! What about the Durability you ask?!? With the new Flex shorts the durability seems to have stayed the same or even perhaps gotten better! This new Flex Short technology is truly the way of the future. Most of all the amount of comfort these shorts provide is second to none! Climbing in and out of my lifted Ram truck has never been easier! Get ya some! And welcome to the future my friend.
