Work shorts
The shorts were of excellent quality. However for me the legs were too long. I returned the shorts for that reason only. If a different leg length was offered I would repurchase the item. Maybe in the future I'll look for a different length from dickie.com. Thank you, Duane S

super comfortable and very durable.
I have several pair, super comfortable, I buy the 11" because I don't want them pass the knees. I get the relaxed fit much much more comfortable, love the side cellphone pocket and wide pockets. It takes many washes before they begin to fade and when they fade its very minimal. I have several pair and I can easily go 2-years before replacing them and I wear them everyday in the warmer months which is about 8-monts a year. So having so many pairs they don't get worn as often, but I do have colors I wear more than others.

This has to be approximately the 30th pair of shorts that I have purchased I think that speaks for itself I only wear dickies and I will only ever wear dickies. I'm the kind of guy that went out of his way on a trip to Texas to shop at the store, in Ft Worth, I was attending a wedding in San Antonio.

What happened to work shorts that WORKED!
Disappointed! I Work in the Swimming Pool Industry with chemicals. Have been purchasing the Standard Work Shorts for over 30 years. Never an issue with staining!! Last pair purchased a few years ago, No Problem .
Just bought new pair that are flex fit. All I see on web site is " Flex Fit" material.
Discolored on first day of use??? Threw away!!
Not sure if they carry the old style material anymore.

Good and reasonable price
Comfortable and securely holds phone in phone pocket. The little bit of stretch is nice. I’ve worn them about a dozen times for work around the house, everything from setting cabinets to painting to installing heavy duty racks in garage to electrical work. While I don’t know if they would stand up to heavy duty construction, they’re great for medium duty and comfortable. I’m 6’1” and 165 and the 32 was a perfect fit.

Need a button at the front waist, not a clasp.
Wish they had a button instead of a clasp at the waist...clap not ideal for "work shorts" as it comes undone all the time. Could you have disclosed this in the product description? Older versions had a button.

Very nice shorts.
Good shorts, nice material, fit just right. Without cargo pockets they look more refined.

Recommend - Size down the waist
Bought a 40” waist; At 6’1”, 240lbs, 53yrs old, I’d have gone with a 38” (not an athlete, they run a bit big).
Very happy with the construction of the shorts though! The fabric is meant for wear/tear & the cell pocket is roomy.

Love your product, just hard to be consistent in your sizes the same waist size can very unfortunately to the smaller size than bought. Also better way to tell difference in material. Other than that love the one's that fitted took 4 try's

Great shorts but for one thing
Shorts are great in every way except for the clasp. If I tighten my belt the clasp detaches and the top is open. Why not stay with the metal button. Just don’t understand it.

Terrible quality control, won't last a year.
The fly clasp broke off on one pair and the belt loop is coming apart on another pair. I got both of these shorts in the same order. Absolutely pathetic quality.
